Organic SEO Optimization and Keyword Analysis
What does the word “Optimization” mean to you? Although our personal opinions may differ regarding what the term infers, knowing exactly what it means to search engines is crucial for improving your organic website placement.
Latent semantic indexing is a process that determines the way search engines associate words. Understanding how to employ latent semantic indexing from a strategic point of view and using it in conjunction with long-tail search engine optimization, can provide keyword-rich suggestions for content, descriptions or titles for your website or blog.
Instead of keyword stuffing (adding your keywords numerous times to inflate the importance of your pages) you can simply use alternative terms that describe the same concept and thereby strengthen your foothold for all related terms that fall under the umbrella of that keyword.
Essentially, within a few minutes time using Google and by adding one unique character before a term, you can strike keyword gold and find a variety of alternatives to enhance your rankings.
For example, applying keyword research for the word “optimization” Google highlighted the following associated words in bold on the displayed results.
The associated terms revealed through latent semantic indexing in Google for the seed word “optimization” were: analysis, positioning, performance, placement, submission, speed, optimizing & optimize. The extent of the keywords you find are determined by how many search results you sift through using the numbers or arrows at the bottom of the page.
Now after identifying all of these various anchors that refer to the term optimization, you can incorporate them into a sentence and place the sentence strategically on your pages. If you start with the topic first and use this method to construct the content on your pages, you will most assuredly achieve stronger organic rankings for your keywords that you have clearly identified for that page. For example, based on the keywords above one could compile a sentence that would rank well in search engines and augment the term “optimization”. In this example, every keyword is used in some form, but used tactfully. This is also a great way to find terms for your tags for blogs.
Example: In order to optimize the performance of your website or blog’s position in search engines, analysis of the keywords you utilize can tremendously affect search engine placement.
Note how all the terms were used?
Using this method for developing your content is completely ethical and naturally strengthens the content and word density without resorting to spamming the engines or affecting usability for your visitors.
So what is the magical grapheme symbol we have been discussing? It is the tilde ~.
Place the tilde in front of a keyword / search term in Google then hit return, the words you see bolded in the search results determine other known indexed words that correspond to your keyword for that search engine.
In this case I used the word ~optimization to research alternative keywords.
So, the next time you get stumped with writer’s block or are simply looking for alternative keywords for Google ad words, blogs, tags, titles, descriptions or content, Use the tilde before the search term and replacing the word optimization with the keyword you would like more incite about.

Twitter has achieved tremendous growth in the last few months and a poll conducted by pluGGd.in (http://www.pluggd.in), India’s leading technology site revealed the ways Indians are using Twitter for.
While majority (17%) of users are still figuring out what do with Twitter, those who use it regularly are using Twitter as a news channel/service (16%).

- 68% of those who wants to stay updated with news also chose ‘stay in touch with friends’ : essentially, these are heavy users of the system and are influential netizens.

If you want to increase traffic, ‘pay per click’ (PPC) advertising may be an easy option, but SEO is better option over your PPC strategies.

Case Study for Retailers 2010
RSR Research, an analyst firm providing market intelligence on retail technology trends, announces the results of its latest research report, “Getting Back to Good: Retail Pricing 2010.” The research shows retailers continuing to invest in core pricing capabilities, with a broader view of how price optimization fits within the retail enterprise. The data also finds stores and competitors playing less of a role in determining prices, as retailers try to recover from 2009.
Miami, FL (PRWEB) January 27, 2010 — RSR Research’s latest report, “Getting Back to Good: Retail Pricing 2010″ shows retailers continuing their emphasis on pricing capabilities as a key to their top-line recovery in 2010. These findings are based on a survey of 123 retailers in the fall of 2009. The report can be downloaded at http://www.retailsystemsresearch.com/_document/summary/1043. The research was supported by Revionics, SAS, Retalix, and Parker Avery.
“It was fascinating to see a significant shift away from relying on stores for customer and pricing expertise by our retail respondents this year,” said Nikki Baird, Managing Partner at RSR Research and co-author of the report. “It’s no longer about getting front-line expertise out of the store and into the enterprise - thanks to cross-channel and social media, stores no longer have the best picture of prices that move local consumers. That now comes from a wider view of customer insights and behavior.”
“If you think about where retailers were even five years ago, and especially given the economic circumstances of the last 18 months, the industry has really moved very fast to accommodate merging pricing and customer insights,” adds Paula Rosenblum, also a Managing Partner at RSR Research and co-author of the report. “Winning retailers - those that outperform their peers in year over year sales - are particularly focused on turning these insights into a sustainable process.”
“Getting Back to Good: Retail Pricing in 2010″ contains analysis of the business drivers, opportunities, and organizational constraints surrounding retail pricing and promotions, as well as recommendations for creating successful pricing capabilities. The report is part of RSR Research’s ongoing efforts to provide market intelligence on retail technology trends, and can be downloaded here:
